Schertz Businessman Murder is Cold Case Seven Years After Death
The
Schertz Police Department has classified the murder of Schertz businessman
Henry Gutierrez, Jr. as a cold case, marking the first in the department's
history. If we can recall, Gutierrez was found shot to death on Christmas Eve
in 2015, and his 2013 Ford Explorer was stolen from his home. His body was
later found in March 2016 at a San Marcos apartment complex. Guadalupe County
Crimestoppers is offering a $75,000 reward for any information leading to
Gutierrez's death. Hopefully, this case will be solved already. Sadly, cold
cases are becoming more and more common.
